Florida's Second Amendment Sanctuary movement has plodded on, county by county, since November 5th when Lake County became the first to declare. With red flag repossessions happening at a furious pace, the march doesn't seem to be slowing.

At the Lake County Courthouse in Tavares, Florida on Tuesday, county commissioners took a united stand against the infringement of the right to keep and bear arms. Though Commission Chairwoman Leslie Campione was not in attendance, she supported the measure.

State Representative Anthony Sabatini, a new Republican representing Howey-in-the-Hills, has put forth a bill of limited scope that would allow some students to carry firearms lawfully in Florida's colleges and universities, as well as elsewhere on campus. The bill is co-sponsored by Rep. Mike Hill, Republican from Pensacola.

Reportedly, Republican Representative Mike Hill introduced Bill HB175 on Monday. It modifies the previous bill from last year called the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Act after the shooting at the high school of the same name in Parkland, rolling back most of the provisions of the law.
