North Dakota's House effortlessly brushed aside a pointless and futile attack on the peoples' Second Amendment rights last week, when it shot down the Democrats' red flag bill, sponsored by Rep. Karla Rose Hanson (D-Fargo), in a 76-17 vote. Opponents successfully argued the bill was a direct contradiction of constitutional due process rights.

The main sponsor of the successful constitutional carry bill two in 2017, Representative Rick Becker of Bismarck said,

"Make no mistake, the bill before us is without exaggeration a gun-grabbing bill. It supposes that the ends justify the means."

Thirteen states and the District of Columbia already have red flag laws. Trying to pass such a bill in a state as red as North Dakota should remind everyone that these gun grab attempts are near the top of the agenda for the Democrats on a national level. They're sure to make many more attempts in as many states as possible.
