And yet another three counties passed their resolutions and are being added to the map this week. Several newspapers across the country are talking about it now, with at least one using our map!
Here are the latest changes....
One new county that we know of is actively planning a vote soon (yellow):
👍 Schuyler County
Another, existing yellow county has had the resolution easily pass out of committee and will be heading for a floor vote:
👍 McDonough County
One county, for the first time that we know of, has actually voted down the resolution. We've changed it back to red because it was a very close vote (8 to 8), and we're hearing that we should expect another attempt soon:
👎 Jo Daviess County
Passed a resolution declaring the county a sanctuary for gun owners or otherwise supporting the Second Amendment: (green):
👍 Stark County
👍 Adams County
👍 Greene County
Greene County actually passed it a few weeks ago, but we didn't know about it because it's a small county and word didn't get around.
The total is now 33! Go, Illinois!
